Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is an Spanish Flamenco/Pop singer. Involved in the margins of popular and traditional music since she was a teenager, she has also delved into different music genres like Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Her voice is described by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but with a bite like those of the past. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial success. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and won the Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. She collaborated with many musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to appear alone on the popular program. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first woman in history to be awarded this award.
